For this first project, the main tasks were for us to identify and explain different spatial types in architecture, and how they inform spatial use and experience. We had to also create tectonic expressions of different spatial typologies which impact on the uses and experiential conditions of space. In a group of 5, we were required to do a precedent study of a visitor centre located in Yushu, Yushu, Qinghai, China. The precedent study had to consist some analysis such as the function of the vic, spatial typologies, spatial poetics and a plan-section relationship.
